Over in Music Hall Passage, the team at award-winning Chef’s Table are already raiding their kitchen garden for the best herbs, flowers and vegetables to create a mouth-watering menu for ‘Veganuary’. Bella Italia, on Eastgate Street, Carluccio’s, on Bridge Street, All Bar One, on Newgate Street and The Botanist, on Godstall Lane, are also offering special ‘Veganuary’ fare.

“January is traditionally a time to grab a bargain in the sales, but it’s also a great time of the year to try a new cuisine and to take time out from cooking without breaking the bank. We are delighted that so many city centre businesses are taking part offering massive discounts, diverse dishes and unique experiences.”

Dave Poynton, operations manager of the Pied Bull in Northgate Street, said: “January has already kicked off to a great start as people head in to Chester for the sales. What’s great about our city is that you never have far to wander between coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and then dinner.

“We look forward to welcoming our loyal customers and new visitors during CH1 Chester Food & Drink Week this year.”
