Chester BID is once again bringing their Jurassic extravaganza to the streets of Chester to kick the Summer Holidays off with a roar!

The dinosaurs are coming back and they’re bigger and better than ever before. From a Dinosaur trail, to meeting them in real life, Chester BID’s popular street enlivenment is coming back to the city from Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th July.This roarsome event will include a series of family-friendly free activities and entertainment, kicking off with the launch of the Dinosaur Trail from July 22nd-30th, where families and dinosaur fans are invited to find 25 dinosaurs hidden in businesses across the city for your chance to win a £50 Chester Gift card.Trail sheets can be collected from the Visitor Information Centre or downloaded from the web link here: https://experiencechester.co.uk/roarsome-chester/

The main Dinosaur Walkabouts will happen on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July from 11am-3pm, when the world’s largest Stegosaurus, Baxter the T-Rex and Dino babies will be visiting the streets of Chester.The Dino’s will be walking about at regular intervals between 11am-3pm each day. Make sure to look for the big orange tent on Eastgate Street for the starting point of each walkabout.Pre-historic fans are invited to get into the spirit of the extravaganza and dress up too. A Fancy Dress Competition will be held on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July at 2.30pm each day, in the big orange tent on Eastgate Street. Participants are asked to find a Dinosaur Wrangler in an orange t-shirt to enter the competition. There will be three winners each day, with Chester Gift Cards up for grabs.
