Chester Axe throwing venue opens this week

Axt Haus, Chester’s First Axe Throwing attraction open this week, with the chance to unleash your “inner lumberjack” Axt Haus has been set up by a local Chester couple who have worked for over 20 years in hospitality and believe that Chester is lacking in anything of this kind.

Brace yourselves for a brand-new kind of adventure as Axt Haus, Chester’s first-ever indoor axe throwing experience, bursts onto the scene! Opening this Thursday, beneath the historic railway arches (Arch 6) close to Chester Racecourse, the venue gives guests the chance to sharpen their skills and their appetites.

“This isn’t your average day or night out. Axt Haus is more than just hurling axes (although there’ll be plenty of that too!). It’s about forging epic memories with friends and family, Our instructors are on hand to guide you every step of the way, ensuring a safe and exhilarating experience for axe-perts and axe-newbies alike. But the fun doesn’t stop at the throwing line!

“A Feast Fit for a Viking! Axt Haus takes your taste buds on a journey to Germany with a mouth-watering menu boasting everything from savoury schnitzels and mouth-watering pretzels to the legendary bratwurst. Wash it all down with a frosty bier or a crisp glass of Riesling – it’s the perfect recipe for an unforgettable time!” say the owners.

Venue Owner Tash Scovell said “We are so excited to be bringing axe throwing to Chester and can’t wait for the city to see what it’s all about – this is going to be the place to be – nights out in Chester will start off more fun now…!” Axt Haus promises “unforgettable experiences” for all occasions” including a unique date opportunity, stag and hen nights, birthdays or team building.
