Iconic former pub The George and Dragon will be reopening soon as a hotel with on site cafe. The pub on Liverpool road closed during the pandemic and has been lying empty for over 5 years.

Rooms are available now at George and Dragon place https://www.george-dragon.com/ with the onsite cafe to open in May according to signage outside the grade II listed building. The venue will offer a range of room categories, “each providing comfort, style, and flexibility.” With the website stating that the accommodation is “ideal for business travelers, couples, and families alike.”

The cafe with the branding ” eat drink play ” will feature a gaming zone.
