Glan Aber Tennis Club, based in Westminster Park, is hosting an evening on 4 July to welcome new and current members to celebrate the iconic tennis tournament. The coach-led evening session will run from 7-9pm and is open to both members and non-members.

The evening will be led by the club’s Joint Head Coach Lydia Mountford-Metcalf and will be made up of a mix of fun drills, match-play and social tennis. All levels will be able to mix in and experience what the friendly club has to offer. Players must be over 18 to attend.
The evening will be capped off with a social, with a complimentary drink provided by the Club. In addition there will be a charity raffle with premium prizes donated by local businesses, including a champagne afternoon tea, a pair of tickets to the Cheshire Polo Summer Festival, massage therapy, a 1to1 coaching session and many more.
Tickets are available for £10 per person, with all money raised going to the national charity Young Champs UK, whose mission is to make tennis as accessible as possible to all young players and Glan Aber’s local Community Outreach Fund. Mark Chappell, President of Glan Aber Tennis Club comments: ‘We’re excited to host an event for everyone to come down and discover what our club is all about. Wimbledon is the most iconic fortnight in the British tennis season, so what better time to get new faces to come and find out more about Glan Aber. We will be opening up the courts to welcome players of all levels to the club for an evening of fun, forehands and social tennis. We pride ourselves on being one of the friendliest clubs in the region and are excited to welcome potential new members.’
