Chester MvF Football Club are taking on their biggest challenge yet – 13 hours of continuous football from 9am to 10pm on Sunday 5th October at Goals in Chester.

The Club are doing this in memory of team member Jonesey’s close friend, Sarah Geoghegan, who sadly passed away in July. “We are turning our love for the game into a heartfelt tribute – and a powerful way to raise funds to support other families affected by such tragedy.” say the team.
“We’ll be facing thirteen hours of back-to-back football… and we’ll need every ounce of energy, plenty of good humour, and quite literally any working pair of legs to help us get through it. Whether you’re a seasoned striker, a Sunday league hero, someone who just fancies a kickabout for a good cause, or even just able to donate a small amount, we’d love you to be part of it.
“We’re raising funds for an amazing cause and to remember an amazing person. Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference — you can get involved by donating, lacing up your boots, or simply coming down to cheer us on. From dawn (ish) ’til dusk, with your support, we’ll make every single hour count.”
