First ever Chester Restaurant Week to be held in February

16th – 22nd February 2026 Chester is about to get tastier! From Sunday 16th to Saturday 22nd February, the city will host the first-ever Chester Restaurant Week, a week-long celebration of independent food and drink across the city centre.

Food lovers can expect exclusive menus, special dishes and great-value dining experiences at a range of venues – from cosy cafés and historic pubs to modern restaurants, artisan bakeries, and bustling bars. It’s the perfect excuse to try somewhere new, enjoy a midweek treat, or plan a foodie weekend in Chester.

Gareth Boyd, Founder of Walking Food Tours UK and Curator of Chester Restaurant Week, said:
“This is a week to celebrate Chester’s amazing independent food and drink scene. We want residents and visitors to explore, try new flavours, and support the businesses that make the city so special. We’d also love as many city centre venues serving food and/or drink to get involved – it’s your chance to be part of our first-ever Restaurant Week!”

Venues confirmed to be taking part in the week so far include : The Pied Bull, Pink Lettuce, Oddfellows, Walking Food Tours . Maray, Pastry Pedaleur, Spuds 4U, The Stixx, Shrub, The Sandbar, Crustum and Olive Tree Brasserie.
