The hugely popular Chester Craft Beer Expo is set to return to Storyhouse next month promising the city’s craft beer connoisseurs a stellar line-up of the finest brews from across the UK and Europe.
The 2026 Expo takes place on 13-14 March in the Garret Bar and Theatre. Tickets cost from £15.30 for Storyhouse Members. The annual event, now in its third year, is a collaboration between Storyhouse and Chester’s award-winning taproom That Beer Place. This year’s Expo boasts a brilliant selection from some of Britain’s best-loved and most exciting breweries which celebrates the best of craft beer, from fan favourites to bold, new boundary pushing beers.

Expect limited releases, classic pours and exciting experimental flavours to tickle the tastebuds. Among the breweries taking part are Windsor’s Indie Rabble, Birmingham-based Glasshouse, Lost Cause Brewing Company in Wakefield and Dundee’s Holy Goat Brewing. Meanwhile Latvia’s Arpus brewery will bring an international flavour to the Expo. And in addition, 2026 will see an enhanced selection of fine ciders on offer for people to try at the Cider Discovery Bar run by experts from Chester Cider Club.
There will also be the chance to enjoy some gourmet pairings with delicious beer-friendly street food prepared by The Kitchen at Storyhouse.The two-day event will feature fascinating and enlightening talks into the art of craft beer with stories and insights from industry figures behind the exceptional brews, along with Q&A sessions for beer lovers.
All ticketholders will receive a bespoke commemorative Chester Craft Beer Expo glass and a select can of craft beer to enjoy at home.Tickets are available for four-hour afternoon and evening sessions on both days.
