BeWILDerwood Cheshire has been crowned Large Visitor Attraction of the Year at the Visit Cheshire Tourism Awards 2026, with other finalists including Chester Zoo, Dunham Massey, Storyhouse and Walton Hall and Gardens.

The prestigious award celebrates outstanding visitor experiences across Cheshire’s tourism sector, recognising attractions that deliver exceptional days out for guests.

The Visit Cheshire Tourism Awards celebrate the very best of the regions tourism industry, highlighting businesses that help make Cheshire a must-visit destination for families.

Since opening in April 2021, the outdoor adventure park has welcomed thousands of families looking to enjoy outdoor play and has quickly become one of Cheshire’s most loved family days out.

The team at BeWILDerwood Cheshire are over the moon to receive the recognition from Visit Cheshire and proud to be among the county’s leading visitor attractions.The award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the BeWILDerwood team, who work year-round to create magical experiences for families visiting the woods.

BeWILDerwood continues to focus on encouraging traditional, imaginative outdoor play, giving families the chance to unplug from screens and spend quality time exploring, climbing, sliding and creating memories together in the great outdoors.

This year, they will be launching a brand-new Easter event, giving families the chance to step inside the story by picking their team – Team Easter Bunny or Team Pesky Bunnies and help decide how Easter unfolds in the woods.Visitors are encouraged to book tickets online in advance, particularly during busy periods, as popular dates can sell out quickly.
