Organisations from across the region are being invited to connect with talented University of Chester students by exhibiting at the University’s upcoming Part-time Jobs Fair during Welcome Week.

Hosted by the University of Chester’s Careers and Employability team, the Fair will provide employers with the opportunity to promote paid, part-time vacancies directly to students who are actively seeking flexible employment alongside their studies while also raising their organisation’s profile in the student community.

Today’s students are increasingly keen to earn while they learn, gaining valuable workplace experience while helping to support their living costs. The event forms part of the University’s Earn While You Learn initiative, which aims to connect students with meaningful employment opportunities that complement their academic studies.

Taking place during Welcome Week, the Part-time Jobs Fair will bring together students from a wide range of disciplines who are looking for part-time work and seasonal opportunities.

Employers attending will have the chance to:

• Promote current part-time and seasonal vacancies
• Meet motivated, work-ready students face-to-face
• Build a pipeline of future talent
• Raise awareness of their organisation across the University community
• Learn more about opportunities to engage with the University of Chester and its Careers and Employability team

Exhibition space is completely free of charge, offering employers an accessible and effective way to recruit while strengthening links with the University’s student population. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Part-time Jobs Fair will take place at the University of Chester’s Exton Park campus during Welcome Week on Friday, October 2 from 11am to 1.30pm.

Organisations interested in exhibiting are encouraged to register their interest by emailing employers@chester.ac.uk. Early booking is advised due to limited availability.
