Comedians to give spoof talks at the Museum
The Grosvenor Museum will be hosting a comedic “TED” talk with comedians becoming professors and commenting on some of the exhibits in the Grosvenor Museum- despite having never seen the slides before and the fact that they will be improvising their fake commentary.

‘Carry on Curating’ on Friday 16 March will be hosted by local comedian Danny McLoughlin, who regularly comperes events in Chester as well as across the UK. He has also supported acts such as Sarah Millican and Sean Lock. Councillor Louise Gittins commented that “Danny is the perfect person to MC for this mix of culture and comedy. It’ll be like a cross between ‘Time Team’ and ‘Who’s Line is it Anyway’ and promises to be an excellent night.”
The event runs from 7.30pm to 9pm on Friday 16 March in the Lecture Theatre at the Grosvenor Museum. Tickets are £10, which includes a glass of wine or a soft drink.
Tickets are available from http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/westcheshiremuseums or on the door on the night.
