Inflatabubble, Chester’s first inflatable theme park proudly partnered with the Catholic High school in Handbridge 1 year ago. The idea was to utilise the facilities to generate supplementary income for the school, increasing funding to enhance the education of young people, whilst providing much needed active children’s provisions in Chester.
Inflatabubble is a huge 500m2 inflatable park with slides, obstacles, a climbing wall, drop cliff and much more. But what makes this experience different to other play centres is the fun selection of games for visitors to play.
“When we opened last summer, we started playing basic games with the children. We found children kept coming back asking to play again! So, we just went with it, making the games more challenging and interactive” said co founder Steph Hall.

In January Inflatabubble installed a professional sound and lighting system into the school’s sports hall. This summer, the setup is being used to develop immersive interactive games driven by trends such as Among Us and The Floor is Lava. It’s like taking virtual reality and turning it into actual reality. The venue even have giant 5ft beach balls this summer!
Inflatabubble is now open 10am-4pm every day throughout the summer holidays, saving time and effort for staff who can keep the attraction inflated rather than pack it away after every weekend. Director Jamie Hall commented that “A lot of people don’t realise we have to put all of this away every weekend. The inflatable weighs over 3,500KG and takes 8 people 3 hours to unpack it, then another 3 hours to get it back into a small shipping container. It’s incredibly hard work, but also great fun.”
Inflatabubble has frozen all prices for the summer to provide a bit of holiday fun that doesn’t break the bank.
