Miss Universe Great Britain finalist Olivia Horton is returning to the Chester school that helped shape her early years to host a spectacular black-tie fundraising gala.

An Evening of Purpose will take place on May 23 at The Hammond school in Chester, raising funds for A-Sisterhood, a UK non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering and supporting vulnerable women and girls in the UK and internationally.

The evening will feature a three-course dinner, West End calibre performances, live entertainment, a charity auction and raffle, all in support of empowering and protecting women and girls around the world. Prizes on offer on the night include the O2 Premium Experience, dinner at The Aubrey, luxury stays at The Midland Manchester and Oddfellows Chester, plus beauty and wellness prizes from Dr Glyn Medispa and Ampika’s Aesthetics.

Olivia trained at The Hammond, which she describes as a place that gave her confidence, creativity and a sense of belonging during an important chapter of her life. Now a finalist in Miss Universe Great Britain 2026, Olivia is using her platform to raise aware ness and funding for causes that support women across the UK and internationally.

Olivia said: “Hosting this evening at The Hammond feels incredibly special to me. It was a place that helped shape who I am today. I chose this setting with intention as I feel that everyday people don’t always get the opportunity to have this kind of experience and I felt I couldn’t not act.”

Olivia has also worked professionally within the entertainment industry, appearing in major productions including Barbie, Wicked and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Her background in the performing arts will be reflected in the evening’s programme which will feature performances from talented professionals and students . The organisation at the heart of the evening, A-Sisterhood, across the UK and inter-nationally to empower women, support survivors of abuse and create opportunities for vulnerable girls through education, protection and community support.
